Ford Ranger Door Locks Not Working

Ford ranger door locks not working.

I know this is 5 0 but i have a small problem with my daily driver and seeing as its atleast a ford vehicle i thought i d get by with this thread. I had all 4 door locks not working. This allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle doors without actually inserting the key into the door handle. Later on they worked 50 of the time you tried.

Changed actuator in that door 3 switches 4 actuators only the door with new actuator is working from all switches suggestions. Many ford vehicles also provide an open trunk feature. 2000 ford ranger power door locks do not open doors. I could walk around to the passenger side and they worked just fine. Press 7 8 9 and 0 buttons simultaneously on the keypad. The keyless entry is a convenience feature on the ford unless it stops working and then it can become a problem.

So yesterday my driver side door handle sensors for lock and unlock stopped working. All of the door locks will cycle. Power door locks quit working. The only thing i did different is i wrapped the original resistor with tin foil to make the connection better instead of making a new plate.
