Hi the back door of my mondeo will not lock either by remote or manual the catch inside that locks it will not move it is the 2005 model tthanks ian submitted.
It started where the auto folding mirror wouldn t fold out when i unlocked the car it would fold in fine but not out i d have to keep pressing the fold mirror button a few times to get it to eventually fold out properly.
I have the motion lock enabled but that doesn t lock the door either.

Hi does anybody know how to open a rear passegers door that appears to be dead locked will not open by remote or by the internal handle have checked all fuses relays and module appears to be the motor in rear door but cant get it open to find fault window will open but not door and cant get to the screws with door.

My daughter found this when she opened it to get in i hadnt even unlocked the car remotely the alarm went off.
You can try is to smash the lock caseing from inside the door and take it all apart untill you get to the catch.
