Thanks to jackal187gaming for the fix.
Fallout 4 sanctuary fix roofs.
Those fundaments are the only tile akaik that can sink into the ground or in this case into the damaged roof.
Instead sanctuary hills pre war is a separate location and the player character is moved to the standard game map after the cryo freezing scene in vault 111 the original sanctuary hills may be accessed by using the console.
Fallout 4 companions feel more desirable to have around.
For sanctuary the 0 0 spot is behind the yellow house.
Sanctuary hills can become a target for the nuka world raiders to take over.
Rebuild sanctuary hills restoration etc.
For starlight drive in the spot is about half way between diner and pond.
Or use those fundaments there is a pure wooden one and one with concrete.
Fixing the roofs in sanctuary hills pc only.

Added a textures only file as a replacer for any vanilla or modded mesh that uses shinglesmetal01 and shinglesmetalrubble01 as their textures i e.
The pre war version of sanctuary hills is not truly changed by the nukes in the game files.
This mod not only fixes the mesh and texture issues with past roof repair mods but also adds new modified pre war meshes and vanilla pre war textures for the carports player home ceilings and foundations.
In this video i show you how to repair the houses in sanctuary by using the rug glitch to add ceilings plug holes in the walls and add doors.
If you really want to use one of the surviving houses in sanctuary hills and want to patch up the wrecked roof i ve found a pretty simple way.
Most efficient way to repair the roofs in santuary hill is to build around the houses till you are above the roofs and then build a floor ontop of them.
For fallout 4 on the playstation 4 a gamefaqs message board topic titled anyway to fix the broken roofs.
After getting a lot of questions asking how i managed to get the roofs covered in my sanctuary base tour which you can watch in the link below.
Simply because it is not going to fix the game engine the settlers will simply get stuck on whatever else you build in that spot.
